Friends dedicated to helping older adults
Friends of Ebenezer on the Ebenezer Minneapolis campus is an organization dedicated to providing funds and gifts of love to meet the needs of older adults and others living in Ebenezer’s long-term care and senior housing sites. Friends of Ebenezer members work tirelessly to reach a common goal – to help older adults and others make their lives more independent, healthful, meaningful and secure.
Our members participate on many levels. Some members choose to contribute financially, while others prefer to volunteer their time. Some do both. These are some of the annual projects the Friends coordinate:
- Operate our Ebenezer gift shop
- Annual waffle breakfast fundraiser
- Hands & Hearts Moving and Estate Sales
- Gifts of Love – Christmas gifts donated and delivered to residents
- Operation Love – Valentine’s Day flowers for residents
- Annual ice cream social
- Entertainment/activities for Ebenezer residents
