The Cottage offers memory care within Meadows on Fairview assisted living community. The Cottage is designed to support older adults with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease or other early-stage dementias. Both our building and services are tailored to ensure that your loved one receives the special care and attention he or she needs.

Personalized memory care and support
A person is as individual as his or her journey with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Because of these differences, all employees at The Cottage attend a dementia training program we created with a community college through a development grant.
By taking time to get to know our residents—their likes, dislikes, daily routines and life history—we are able to help residents find personally meaningful activities. Each resident’s health and well-being is monitored daily and medical transportation arrangements can be made if needed.
Based on the concept of "person-centered care," The Cottage’s caregivers help residents continue activities of daily living and meaningful routines such as setting the table or folding personal laundry.
Designed for memory care
The Cottage at Meadows on Fairview is designed to accommodate dementia residents and to look and feel like home. A warm, friendly place, each memory care resident has a 400 square foot studio apartment, private bath, kitchen and cable television. Residents in the dining room receive three meals daily plus snacks. Other common living areas include the Great Room, activity area, screened porch and secure private courtyard.
Meeting memory care needs
Our personal care staff provides round-the-clock assistance and attention. All medications are stored and administered by our staff. Housekeeping, laundry service and bathing assistance are available as needed (an extra charge may apply).
Our leisure activities and life enrichment programs add structure and enjoyment to every day. Residents of The Cottage, with a companion, can enjoy other building amenities at Meadows on Fairview including beauty salon/barber shop and private dining room.
Ebenezer experience
The Cottage at Meadows on Fairview is owned and managed by Ebenezer, a trusted name in Minnesota for providing quality senior services since 1917. Ebenezer is a part of Fairview Health Services. Fairview Lakes Medical Center is right around the corner.
