Osborne Apartments is a unique retirement setting that provides spacious, safe, clean and affordable housing. It is designed for elderly and handicapped persons who seek a secure, low maintenance lifestyle.
The five-story building contains 60 units of subsidized housing.

Osborne Apartments is located in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota, in the heart of a peaceful residential neighborhood, with easy access to shopping, health care, transportation, entertainment and volunteer opportunities.
Unity Medical Center is directly across the street, providing in-patient and out-patient health care, a multi-specialty physician clinic and a skilled care nursing home. Public transportation is available at your doorstep, with service to all parts of the metropolitan area. Grocery and other retail stores are within a mile.

Osborne Apartments is owned and operated by Osborne Apartments, a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Management is provided by Ebenezer, which has provided quality adult services for 90 years.

Independent Living:
A person may be considered capable of independent living if he/she is able to manage his/her own affairs or self-acquired services, and handle the activities of daily living.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for residency, you must be at least 62 years of age or need a wheelchair accessible apartment, and meet the income requirements.
The facility is financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and includes a rent subsidy program. Tenants pay 30 percent of their adjusted gross income for rent, and the Federal Government pays the remainder.
To determine if you qualify:
Annual gross income (social security, pension, wages, etc.) cannot exceed:
$27,500 for 1 person
$31,400 for 2 persons
Application:
Applications are accepted on a continuing basis. Eligible applicants are placed on the waiting list as they are received. An eligibility verification interview is required prior to final acceptance.
