The Cottage at Meadows on Fairview offers memory care within our assisted living community. The Cottage is designed to support older adults with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease or other early-stage dementias.  Both our building and services are tailored to ensure that your loved one receives the special care and attention he or she needs.

Personalized Care and Support

We know that people are as individual as their journey with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Because of these differences, we take the time to get to know our residents—their likes, dislikes, daily routines and life history. This allows us to best meet their current needs.

Based on the concept of "person-centered care", the Cottage’s caregivers help residents continue life’s daily activities and meaningful routines such as:

• Setting the table
• Sorting and folding personal laundry
• Tidying up
• Puttering with tools and household items

A Place to Call Home

The Cottage is designed to look and feel like home and is a warm, friendly place. Each memory care resident has a cozy studio apartment, private bath, kitchen and cable television. Common living areas like the Great Room, dining and activities area, screened porch and private courtyard provide a home-like place in which to live and be engaged.

All meals are included and are shared in The Cottage dining room. Our personal care staff provides round-the-clock assistance and attention. Each resident’s health and well-being is monitored daily, and all medications are stored and administered by our staff. Housekeeping, laundry service and bathing assistance are provided as needed.

Our leisure activities and life enrichment programs add structure and enjoyment to every day. Meadow’s specially trained staff helps residents find personally meaningful activities. This supports Ebenezer’s mission to help older adults and others make their lives more independent, healthful, meaningful and secure.
